Jeden z v\u00fdznam\u016f spo\u010d\u00edv\u00e1 v jej\u00ed konverzi a p\u0159em\u011bn\u011b v lidsk\u00e9m organismu na omega 3 mastn\u00e9 kyseliny s prodlou\u017een\u00fdm \u0159et\u011bzcem \u2013 kyselinu eikosapentaenovou (EPA) a dokosahexaenovou (DHA). Ty hraj\u00ed v organismu nezastupitelnou roli. Tato konverze je v\u0161ak omezena v p\u0159\u00edpad\u011b kyseliny EPA (hlavn\u011b u mu\u017e\u016f) a velmi omezena, co se t\u00fd\u010de DHA. Proto se doporu\u010duje p\u0159\u00edm\u00e1 konzumace EPA + DHA v mno\u017estv\u00ed alespo\u0148 250 mg\/den a ryby, kter\u00e9 jsou jejich nejv\u00fdznamn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm zdrojem, jsou sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed v\u00fd\u017eivov\u00fdch doporu\u010den\u00ed na b\u00e1zi potravin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Kyselina stearidonov\u00e1 m\u016f\u017ee pomoci zv\u00fd\u0161it hladinu EPA a DHA<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kyselinu stearidonovou&nbsp;tvo\u0159\u00ed 18 uhl\u00edk\u016f a obsahuje \u010dty\u0159i dvojn\u00e9 vazby. V lidsk\u00e9m organismu vznik\u00e1 konverz\u00ed mastn\u00e9 kyseliny&nbsp;\u03b1-linolenov\u00e9&nbsp;enzymem delta-6-desatur\u00e1zou. Tato reakce je jedn\u00edm z \u010dl\u00e1nk\u016f \u0159et\u011bzce biochemick\u00fdch reakc\u00ed konverze kyseliny&nbsp;\u03b1-linolenov\u00e9 na kyselinu eikosapentaenovou (EPA) a dokosahexaenovou (DHA), nav\u00edc \u010dl\u00e1nkem limituj\u00edc\u00edm. P\u0159\u00edm\u00fd p\u0159\u00edjem kyseliny stearidonov\u00e9 v r\u00e1mci stravy m\u016f\u017ee pomoci zv\u00fd\u0161it mno\u017estv\u00ed kyseliny EPA a DHA vznikaj\u00edc\u00ed v organismu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>P\u0159\u00edrodn\u00ed zdroje kyseliny stearidonov\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mezi v\u00fdznamn\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00ed zdroje t\u00e9to mastn\u00e9 kyseliny pat\u0159\u00ed oleje ze semen&nbsp;kamejky&nbsp;(<em>Buglossoides arvensis)<\/em>&nbsp;a hadince (<em>Echium plantagineum<\/em>). Oba tyto oleje byly&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/eur-lex.europa.eu\/legal-content\/CS\/TXT\/PDF\/?uri=CELEX:32017R2470&amp;from=CS\">podle na\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed Komise (ES) \u010d. 2017\/2470<\/a>&nbsp;za\u0159azeny mezi nov\u00e9 potraviny (potraviny nov\u00e9ho typu). Podle definic v tomto na\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed \u010din\u00ed obsah kyseliny stearidonov\u00e9 v kamejkov\u00e9m oleji minim\u00e1ln\u011b 14&nbsp;% a hadincov\u00e9m minim\u00e1ln\u011b 10&nbsp;%. Podle Evropsk\u00e9ho \u00fa\u0159adu pro bezpe\u010dnost potravin EFSA&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.efsa.europa.eu\/en\/efsajournal\/pub\/6589\">nep\u0159edstavuje olej z GMO s\u00f3ji riziko v lidsk\u00e9 v\u00fd\u017eiv\u011b<\/a>&nbsp;p\u0159i konzumaci kyseliny stearidonov\u00e9 v mno\u017estv\u00ed do 4,2 gram\u016f\/den.&nbsp;Mo\u017enost pou\u017eit\u00ed s\u00f3jov\u00e9ho GMO oleje v potravin\u00e1ch v r\u00e1mci EU by je\u0161t\u011b vy\u017eadovalo dal\u0161\u00ed schv\u00e1len\u00ed. Evropsk\u00e1 legislativa se obecn\u011b k pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1n\u00ed geneticky modifikovan\u00fdch organism\u016f v potravin\u00e1ch chov\u00e1 sp\u00ed\u0161e odm\u00edtav\u011b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>P\u0159emost\u011bn\u00ed konverze kyseliny \u03b1-linolenov\u00e9 funguje<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/22279143\/\">Studie<\/a>, kter\u00e1 sledovala hladinu EPA v organismu v z\u00e1vislosti na konzumaci kyseliny stearidonov\u00e9, potvrdila, \u017ee p\u0159\u00edm\u00e1 konzumace t\u00e9to kyseliny hladinu EPA zvy\u0161uje. Suplementace kyselinou stearidonovou v mno\u017estv\u00ed 3,5-4,2 g\/den odpov\u00eddala p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b bioekvivalentn\u00edmu p\u0159\u00edjmu EPA&nbsp;\u2264&nbsp;1 g\/den.
